The darkness lifts...revealing the true form of the menace which threatens the worlds.

Once a child who felt trapped...surrounded by water. So the boy sought to escape his prison, he sought for a way to cross into other worlds and opened his heart to the darkness.

In time, the child became a man and a master of the four orders. He had began within the light, sought wisdom and displayed unmatched valor, but he entered the darkness that beaconed him and what came forth from that darkness...could hardly be considered a man.

After a long journey, the seeker of the lost heart of hearts found himself old and wearied. To cast off the fear of mortality and weakness, he stole away the body of a wayward youth.

Due to unforeseen interference, the youth forgot his identity and was taken in by a sage of wisdom. Under his teachings and with the aid of a scheming freeshooter, the young man's soul showed forth it's true colors. Within the mere span of a year, he turned the City of Light into a wasteland destroyed by the Darkness.

He gave himself to that darkness, becoming a Seeker once more. A guiding tempter that desired to destroy all light and even thought of the lost light as being darkness itself. In the end, he was beaten by two boys chosen by fate and destroyed by the very light that he had sought.

Though his heart of darkness was lost, his mind lived on within his body...a master of eternal nothingness. He toyed with other beings lost in this realm and sought to turn them into emotionless tools to be filled with his darkness. But he too fell to children of destiny and the heart which he had forsaken.

Now he is reborn...

And what about the symbols? Are they representations of all of which Xehanort holds power over? Proof of mastery from the four thrones themselves?

Either work it out yourselves or....ASK ME WHAT IT MEANS! ASK ME WHAT IT MEANS! (Dances up and down)

First of all, your vision is totally unique. It shows not only Xehanort's station of awakening in a really cool way, but also the different faces of Xehanort we've been seeing as time passes. And that's pretty cool. The borders of the station look kinda pixelated, I don't know if that's how you wanted it to look, but still. The patch of darkness is a really cool feature in the image, it really brings the essence of Xehanort, you know how he controls and manipulates the darkness and like you said, he could've become it. But it does kinda cover some parts of the other images of Xehanort (like 1/2 of Xemnas' body and some of Ansem's body) but I can understand since in some of the other stations the giant body of the character often covers parts of the smaller images, so it's not a big deal. Over all, I can't find a single thing in this image to complain about, I know Critiques are supposed to be about emphasizing the bad stuff in someone's work to help them improve, but I can't find one. Nice work.
